We believe students learn history by living it, not memorizing it. Every game we build applies Experiential Narrative Education, our framework for turning academic content into roleplay, choice, and consequence, so learning actually sticks.

Kyle Michl
Co-Founder
Kyle Michl is a high school social studies teacher who earned both his B.A. in History and his M.Ed. from The Ohio State University. He has worked in both private and public school settings, with experience teaching World History, U.S. History, U.S. Government, Economics, Sociology, and Humanities. His passion lies in fostering student growth through engaging discussions, immersive simulations, and meaningful analysis of primary sources, helping students develop the critical thinking skills needed to understand the past and navigate the present.
Henry Tikkanen
Co-Founder
Henry Tikkanen graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University in 2022 with a degree in History Education and from Dakota Wesleyan University with a Master's degree in Education in 2026. He has been teaching middle school social studies in the state of Ohio since 2022 and is especially passionate about American History.
Landon Courville
Co-Founder
Landon Courville has taught in Indiana, Ohio, Tennessee, and Nevada as a Humanities, ELA, and Social Studies teacher since 2019. A graduate of Washington and Lee University for undergrad, he got his Master's in Education from Vanderbilt University specializing in Social Studies Education. Working in public, private, and charter environments, he has done research studying engagement through gamification and roleplaying, particularly how they correlate to standardized academic metrics.
